Jeffrey Kunath
Jeffrey graduated from the University of Florida with a dual degree in Spanish (B.A.) and Linguistics (B.A.) while also receiving a certificate to Teach English as a Second Language (TESL). At the SCANN Lab, he helps with studies regarding spatial cognition and navigation using fMRI, particularly focusing the Navigation and Aging experiment. Additionally, he works on analyzing data collected from lab experiments and improving his overall research skills. He is also currently collaborating with the Brain, Language, and Bilingualism lab on a language learning experiment for older adults.
His research interests are as follows: language in the mind and brain; language and navigation; spatial cognition; language and gender; aging; and bilingualism.
Fun fact: Jeffrey has two pet chinchillas! Their names are Boba and Bebe.
