Boba and Bebe

Boba and Bebe

We are Boba (right) and Bebe (left)! We’re two chinchillas who live the best life. When we’re not snuggling, we’re bouncing around on the ledges in our cage, running on our wheel, chowing down on hay and pellets, or going absolutely bonkers in our dust bath. Yes, we bathe in dust – YouTube it. Here, you can see us begging for treats! Please, please, please give us oats!!!

Skippy Jon Jones & Enzo

Skippy and Enzo

We are Skippy (left) and Enzo (right). I, Skippy, was left at the Vet School, where I was named because of my “abnormal skull”. I just have a big, smooth brain. I was around a lot of animals in my foster home, and when I moved to Jeffrey’s, he was the only one I could play with. I was diagnosed with what they call “single kitten demon syndrome”, and so Jeffrey got me a victim, I mean, brother, Enzo. He’s the perfect playmate, and we have the best races around the house! I always win. He’s a little shy, so he just says hello.

“Hello.”

Kathy

Kathy

Meet Kathy, the golden retriever with a PhD in relaxation and a minor in treat negotiation. Her daily schedule is packed with rigorous lounging sessions, interrupted only by snack breaks and the occasional dream-chasing. Kathy’s research interests include “The Effects of Belly Rubs on Stress Reduction” and “Quantifying the Optimal Number of Treats Per Day for Maximum Happiness.” Despite her busy schedule, she always makes time for her hobbies: long walks that she insists are critical field research and teaching her human the importance of taking breaks. Kathy’s motto? “Live, love, nap.”

Lusy

Lusy

Lusy is a 9 year old Golden Retriever. She spends her days assisting Eliany on her PhD journey by demanding pets and treats daily. Her research involves various methodologies, including ripping apart stuffed animals to find their squeaker and sniffing every tree in sight. Most notably, she is known for her devotion to carrying a different stuffed animal with her during every walk so they don’t feel lonely. Her long term goal is to review each and every toy for quality assurance and to ensure they are properly taken care of as she enters older adulthood.

Nova Bean Mışık

Nova

My name is “Nova Bean” Mışık, and I am an 8-month-old kitty (umm – but still debatable if I qualify as a cat cause I follow my parent everywhere, meow only when she is awake, and can high-five for treats!). I like to manipulate the “not-a-cat-person” to pet me and love me. I will intentionally lay next to you the minute you sit down and purr like the AC in our apartment. My hobbies include having zoomies, chirping when I see the mouse pointer on the projector wall, and going into the litter box while my parent is cleaning it.

Mandheling

Mandheling

Hello there! I am Chengsi’s roommate. He always calls me Mandheling, and I just can’t understand how I alike I am to those charcoaled bitter beans he loves. While Chengsi studies navigation by staring at the glowing panels, I prefer doing field studies, that is, repeatedly exploring every corner of the environment and slapping every toy as fast as possible. By doing so, I will not only have the most optimized route, but also get Chengsi’s attention.
